No point in buying PWM fans if they don't function. 11 and later, the kernel boots up with the PWM. Before I consider replacing or adding more fans I'd like to figure out if there is a workable solution other than DC. I also cant access BIOS since mine freezes when I select any icon like the SCU(Topic for another thread).

The stock Intel cooler for my i5 8400 and two 140mm case fans that came with the CM Master Pro 3 case are cheap but I don't suspect they are the root issue. DC settings for the case fans work as displayed. The other three non-full speed options (Normal, Silent, Turbo) display considerably more realistic temp reactive curves which are disregarded in use for the same 98% base fan speed. Both case fans lock into 98% as the optimized, and now lowest manual, setting. In current BIOS this option is replaced by "Optimize all fans" which sets all fans to PWM > Manual. Fan must be connected to the Fan1 port then the M/B BIOScan detect the fan speed. I briefly looked around before updating from the version it shipped with and seem to remember it allowed setting the PWM fan speed based on cpu/mb/HDD temp individually or as a composite. The GameMax V2.0 PWM and ARGB (Rainbow) HUB uses build-in program to. First build and the fan settings in BIOS seem strange.
